This website, casey-keen.com, is run by Casey Keen (“I,” “me” or “my”). This policy explains what information I collect when you visit, how I use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give me. When you sign up for my newsletter, I collect your email address and the topics you choose (such as memoir and maternal health, or fiction and romance). If you email me, I receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message.

Like most websites, this site collects basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, approximate location (city or region), the pages you view and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar tools provided by my website platform, Wix.

How I use it

I use your information to:

• Send you my newsletter, including news about books, events and writing

• Send you the type of updates you chose

• Reply to your messages

• Understand how visitors use the site so I can improve it

I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

I share information only with the services that help run this site and my newsletter:

• Wix, which hosts this website, stores newsletter sign-ups and provides site analytics

• My email provider, which delivers emails and stores messages you send me

These services may only use your information to provide their services to me. I may also disclose information if required by law.

• Access or delete your information: you can ask what information I have about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing casey(@)casey-keen(.)com.

• Do Not Track: this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have additional rights under local law. I will honor those requests as required.

Security

I use reputable platforms with standard security protections to store your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
