About Casey
Casey Keen is an author, advocate, and founder of Alchemy of Motherhood. She writes across memoir and fiction. Nonfiction that goes where the healthcare system doesn't, and paranormal fiction that goes somewhere else entirely.
Her memoir, The Alchemy of Motherhood (Cynren Press), draws on her own experiences with postpartum depression and anxiety, postpartum preeclampsia, and birth trauma to examine the systemic healthcare gaps that leave mothers unsupported after delivery. Her writing on postpartum care and maternal health has appeared in Undark, and she was named one of the Influential Women of 2026.
In fiction, her Anna Wolfe Series follows a heroine navigating destiny, power, and a supernatural war between light and darkness, built around identity, transformation, and impossible choices.
She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Drexel University and an M.S. in Forensic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
