About
Casey

Casey Keen is an author, advocate, and founder of Perinatal Education & Advocacy. Her writing spans memoir, cultural commentary, and paranormal romance, moving between the realities we need to confront and the imagined worlds we escape into.

Through Perinatal Education & Advocacy, Casey's advocacy work focuses on maternal health, postpartum care, and improving awareness of the gaps women encounter in maternity care. Her memoir, The Alchemy of Motherhood: Unspoken Truths of Birth Trauma and the Postpartum Journey (Cynren Press, 2026), draws on her own experiences with postpartum depression and anxiety, postpartum preeclampsia, and birth trauma to examine the systemic healthcare gaps that leave mothers unsupported after delivery. Her writing on postpartum care and maternal health has appeared in Undark and The Philadelphia Inquirer, and she was named an Influential Woman of 2026.

In fiction, her Anna Wolfe Series follows a heroine navigating destiny, power, romance, and a supernatural war between light and darkness, a world built around identity, transformation, and impossible choices.

Casey holds a B.A. in Psychology from Drexel University and an M.S. in Forensic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
